Abstract: |
In order to analyze the interior relation between karstic cave drips' positive ion (Ca2+ and Mg2+) and climatic conditions (precipitation and temperature), and to further contribute to the interpretation of the ground-surface environment around the survey region. We had done one-year monitoring to the cave drips' Ca2+, Mg2+, and other geochemical characteristics, there were also the climatic conditions around the area from June 2011 to May 2012 in Shi Jiangjun Cave of Guizhou Province. The main discovery we have got are as follows:The interannual variation trends among seven chosen drip points' Ca2+ and Mg2+ are obviously consistent, they are divided into fluctuation area, high value area and low value area. There is no remarkable consistency between the Mg/Ca ratio and the precipitation on their variations by the month. However, the average Mg/Ca ratios among fluctuation area, high value area and low area are capable of responding the precipitation from the outside for they are well correlated with the monthly precipitation. We have also developed that the drips' Ca2+ and Mg2+ values reduce abruptly in the low value area in January (as the trough period of the interannual variation) for the impact of temperature and soil CO2. |
